According to Automotive News Europe, Lamborghini will launch its first plug-in hybrid model in 2023 and have a fully electric lineup by 2024. 2022 will be the last year of selling only pure combustion engine models such as the Aventador per CEO Stephen Winkelmann.

Lamborghini has almost sold out its entire production run for 2022 and the Volkswagen Group plans on unveiling four new products. These models will start the transition to hybrids beginning 2023, at which point the plug-in hybrid setup will include a battery and V-12 engine. The CEO also confirmed that the legendary automaker’s first all-electric vehicle is likely going to be a four-door for daily use.

The lineup will look something like this, according to the CEO’s new comments:

  • Aventador Hybrid in 2023
  • Urus Plug-in Hybrid in 2024
  • Huracán Hybrid in 2025
  • Unnamed all-electric model around 2028

If you are looking to invest in a Lamborghini now is the time, as the selection of pure combustion models will become limited. HBi Auto currently has a great selection of Lamborghinis and offers a nationwide vehicle finder service. Contact us today!
