What is the difference between PPF and ceramic coating?
Paint protection film is a physical, self-healing layer that stops rock chips and scratches. Ceramic coating is a thin hard layer that makes paint easier to clean and adds gloss. Many owners use film on the front and ceramic over the whole car.
Do you correct the paint before installing film or ceramic?
Yes. Paint is inspected under lights and corrected first, so swirls and defects are not sealed under the protection.
