We ask the right questions about how you will use the car, your budget, trade-in, and timing so we can confirm it is a true fit—not simply the coolest thing currently in stock.

Live Video Tour or In-Person Visit
If you are remote, we schedule a live video tour so you can see the car in real time—including the paint, interior, startup, and any imperfections. Local buyers are welcome to inspect and experience the vehicle in person instead.

Custom Proposal & Partial Payment
If the car is a strong match, we prepare a custom proposal covering the vehicle price, HBi Certified warranty options, and your Detail & Protection level. Once everything is approved, you place a partial payment to secure the vehicle.

Final Terms, Preparation & Quality Check
We finalize financing or cash payment and prepare the closing documents. At the same time, our team completes final service and detail work, applies the selected Detail & Protection package, and performs a final quality check.

PPI questions
Can I get a pre-purchase inspection (PPI) on an HBi Auto car?
Yes. Every car can have a live video PPI with the HBi technician who prepared it: cold start, walk-around, underside on the lift, the PIWIS scan on Porsches, and every record we have. You choose what we look at, and you can bring your own mechanic onto the call.
Will HBi send the car to a Porsche dealer or another shop for a PPI?
No. Other dealerships buy and sell the same cars we do, so our cars stay with us. Instead you get the live video PPI with our technician, and we send the scan and records to any specialist you choose.
Every buying guide says to get an independent PPI. Why is HBi different?
That advice protects you from sellers who hide things. A live, on-camera inspection where you decide what to see, plus the scan and the records sent to the mechanic of your choice, gives you that protection without handing the car to a competitor.
Where do HBi’s cars come from?
Bought directly from owners, never from auctions. Many come through 911 Buyers, our own buying team, from enthusiasts who kept their cars properly.
What if I find a problem after delivery?
Eligible HBi Certified cars bought remotely come with our Sight-Unseen Safety Guarantee: report a material, undisclosed issue within 7 days or 300 miles of delivery. Wear items like brake pads, rotors and tires aren’t covered. Read the full terms on the guarantee page.
Another shop quoted me brakes or tires after I bought. Is that a defect?
Brake pads, rotors and tires are wear items, and a quote isn’t a diagnosis. Send us the quote and photos first. Our technicians will go through it with you and tell you what the car actually needs.

HBi Auto started in 2016 when Billy Wenk and a small group of car enthusiasts began building and restoring project cars in his father’s backyard. Within three months, the team moved into its first shop with one clear focus: become the place Porsche and exotic-car owners could trust with the cars most shops did not truly understand.
The business grew by solving the problems our clients were already experiencing. We introduced complimentary enclosed pickup and delivery to make specialized service easier to access. We added an in-house detailing and protection department so paint correction, XPEL PPF, ceramic coating, and final presentation could be completed to the same standard as the mechanical work.
Then we began seeing the same pattern repeatedly: clients would purchase a Porsche or exotic elsewhere and immediately bring it to HBi for an inspection, overdue service, or repairs that should have been handled before the car was sold. Eventually, they began asking us: “If you are the ones we trust to inspect, service, and prepare these cars, why do we have to buy them somewhere else?”
That question became the foundation of HBi Auto’s sales program. Instead of operating like a traditional used-car dealership, we built the process around what we already knew: carefully select the car, inspect it thoroughly, complete the necessary service and reconditioning in-house, protect it, support it with meaningful warranty coverage, and make the purchase and delivery process simple for clients nationwide.
As we grew, we created 911 Buyers so we could source more vehicles directly from enthusiasts rather than relying only on wholesale auctions. That gives us a better opportunity to understand a vehicle’s ownership history, acquire higher-quality inventory, and prepare each car for the next owner with fewer compromises.
Our goal has never been to offer the cheapest Porsche or exotic on the internet. It is to deliver a properly selected, serviced, protected, and supported vehicle that a busy enthusiast can buy with confidence.

How do I schedule a live video tour?
Select a vehicle and request the tour from its vehicle detail page. Your HBi specialist will coordinate a convenient time.
Do I have to come in person to buy?
No. The vehicle review, paperwork, financing, and delivery process can be completed remotely.
Can I use my own bank or credit union?
Yes. You may arrange outside financing or review available financing options through HBi.
How do deposits and vehicle holds work?
Deposit and hold terms are disclosed before funds are sent. Review your written purchase documents for the applicable timing and conditions.
How long does the process usually take?
Timing depends on paperwork, financing, protection-package installation, and transport scheduling. Your specialist will provide an estimated timeline for your vehicle.
