HBi Auto Sight-Unseen Safety Guarantee
Buy your Porsche or exotic online with confidence. Learn how HBi Auto's Sight Unseen Safety Guarantee helps protect remote buyers before delivery.
Designed to provide additional confidence when purchasing an eligible HBi Certified vehicle remotely.
Eligibility, available remedies, limitations, and exclusions are subject to these terms and the buyer’s signed transaction documents.
Eligibility Requirements
The Guarantee may apply only when all applicable requirements below have been satisfied.
Eligible HBi Certified Vehicle
The vehicle must have been sold by HBi Auto as an eligible HBi Certified retail vehicle. Wholesale, consignment, race-prepared, specialty, or expressly excluded vehicles may not qualify.
Remote Purchase
The vehicle must have been purchased remotely without the buyer completing an in-person inspection or test drive before the transaction.
Live Video Tour
The buyer must participate in, or expressly decline after being offered, HBi’s live video tour before completing the purchase.
Signed Acknowledgments
The buyer must receive and acknowledge applicable vehicle disclosures, inspection information, purchase documents, and other required transaction materials.
7 Days or 300 Additional Miles
A potential claim must be reported to HBi Auto within seven calendar days after confirmed delivery and before the vehicle has accumulated more than 300 additional miles, whichever occurs first.
Failure to satisfy either requirement may make the concern ineligible for consideration under this Guarantee.
What Is a Material, Undisclosed Issue?
A material, undisclosed issue generally means a significant condition that:
-
Existed before the vehicle was delivered.
-
Was not disclosed by HBi before purchase.
-
Was not reasonably visible or identified during the live video tour or available inspection review.
-
Would reasonably be expected to materially affect the purchasing decision.
-
A significant pre-existing mechanical failure.
-
Previously undisclosed structural damage.
-
Significant undisclosed prior accident damage.
-
A substantial condition discrepancy compared with HBi’s documented representations.
These examples do not automatically establish eligibility. HBi must investigate the facts, documentation, vehicle condition, and transaction records before making a decision.
What the Guarantee Does Not Cover

-
Normal wear, deterioration, or aging.

How an Eligible Concern May Be Addressed
After completing its investigation, HBi may select an appropriate resolution based on the circumstances of the claim.
Evaluation or Repair at HBi
HBi may require the vehicle to be returned to its facility for inspection, diagnosis, repair, or further evaluation.
Approved Local Repair
HBi may authorize a specific local repair facility, repair procedure, or contribution toward an approved repair. Written authorization is required before work begins.
Alternative Resolution
HBi may offer another commercially reasonable resolution mutually accepted by the parties.
Repurchase as a Final Remedy
HBi may consider repurchasing the vehicle when it determines that another remedy is not appropriate. Repurchase is not automatic and remains subject to written conditions.
Important Limitations
This Guarantee is a limited customer-assistance program and is not an insurance policy, mechanical warranty, service contract, promise of vehicle perfection, right of rescission, or unconditional return policy.
Nothing on this page expands the coverage provided by an HBi CPO warranty, manufacturer warranty, third-party service contract, carrier agreement, insurance policy, or other written agreement.
HBi reserves the right to investigate each submission and determine whether the vehicle, buyer, reported condition, timing, mileage, supporting evidence, and requested remedy satisfy these terms.
The vehicle purchase agreement, warranty documents, signed disclosures, arbitration agreement, and any other signed transaction documents remain controlling. Applicable governing law, venue, dispute-resolution, notice, and arbitration provisions contained in those documents also apply.
No employee or representative may modify these terms orally. Any exception or approved resolution must be confirmed in writing by an authorized HBi Auto representative.

Contact HBi as Soon as a Concern Is Discovered
