Find the Right Car With Our Help
First, find a car you like on our website, or come see us in person. You can also just reach out, and one of our car experts will help you find the right car. They will ask how you really drive and what you want from the car.

Fact-Finding & Fit
Next, we ask you a few questions about you and the car. How will you use the car, and how much do you want to spend on it? Do you have a car to trade in, and when do you want to get the new one? This helps us make sure the car is right for you, not just the coolest car on our lot right now.

Live Video Tour or In-Person Visit
Do you live far away? Then we set up a live video tour so you can see the car as it is right now. We show you the paint and the inside, we start the car, and we show you any flaws. If you live close by, you are welcome to come see and try the car in person.

Custom Proposal & Partial Payment
Is the car a good match? Then we write up a plan just for you. It shows the price of the car, your HBi Certified warranty choices and the Detail & Protection level you pick. Once you say yes to it all, you pay part of the price to hold the car for you.

Final Terms, Preparation & Quality Check
Now we finish your loan or your cash payment, and we get the final papers ready to sign. At the same time, our team does the last service and cleaning work on the car. We add the Detail & Protection package you picked. Then we do one last check to make sure it is all right.

Delivery or Pickup
We make sure it is all ready. Then we set up a closed or open truck to bring the car to your door, or we plan a time for you to pick it up. Your car comes fixed up and protected, and the hand-off is clear and simple with no surprises.

What you get before you send a dollar
Before you send us any money, your car expert shows you the real car on a live call. You see the body, the paint and the inside, you see the car start, and you see any flaws.
Every HBi retail car comes with 3 months of shakedown coverage. You pay a $0 deductible (the part you pay before coverage kicks in). Eligible cars can get 24 or 36 months of coverage instead.
On HBi Certified cars, the full checklist is right there on the car page, and it shows each and every line we checked.
If we have the car’s first window sticker, you can see each add-on from the factory. You can see what each one cost when new. You also get a free history report, just one tap away on the car page.
For the models we track, this shows how rare the paint, the inside and the add-ons are. It also gives a rough count of how many cars exist just like this one.
It shows the price of the car, your HBi Certified warranty choices and your Detail & Protection level. It also shows the $1,999.95 dealer doc fee, which pays for us to do your paperwork. You will have no surprises at all when it is time for you to sign the papers.

Some HBi Certified cars can be bought from far away. When you do this, you are kept safe by our Sight‑Unseen Safety Guarantee, our 111‑point check and our HBi Certified warranty. Here is what each one means, in plain words.
Sight‑Unseen Safety Guarantee
If an eligible car arrives with a significant, undisclosed issue that materially differs from the live review and inspection, HBi will investigate and work toward an appropriate remedy under our Sight‑Unseen Safety Guarantee.
Live Video Tour Before You Wire
Before you send us any money, you look at the real car with our team on a live video call. We show you the true shape the car is in. We start with the body, the paint and the inside, and we start the car for you, too. That way, you know just what you are buying from almost anywhere.
HBi Certified Inspection & Warranty
Cars that qualify get a full service and a 111‑point check. They also come with our HBi Certified warranty, on top of your buying papers. You can use this coverage in any state. It works at Porsche dealers and at shops we approve.

How every car is inspected before it’s listed
We check every car before we put it up for sale, and the checks are done by our own techs who work on these cars every day. You get the full report. Our cars do not leave our shop to be checked by someone else.

Multi-point inspection (MPI) on arrival
First, we do an MPI, which is a check of many parts of the car. Every car we buy goes to our own shop first. Our techs lift the car up and check it from top to bottom, and then we choose if it is good enough to sell.

Factory PIWIS scan
On a Porsche, we use PIWIS, which is Porsche’s own computer tool. It reads each of the car’s computers, and it finds any saved error codes. It reads the over-rev log, which shows times the engine was pushed too hard. It also reads the service history saved in the car.

Fixed and serviced in-house
If the MPI finds a problem, we fix it in our own shop. We also service the car, so nothing is due when you get it.

111-point HBi Certified inspection
Next, cars that qualify must pass our 111-point check, plus 9 checks of their papers. We based these checks on Porsche’s own rules for its CPO cars (used cars Porsche says meet its standard). Our shop boss and our sales boss both sign off on each car.

You get the check report, the scan and the records, right on the car page. We send them to you, too, and they come from the same people who did the work.

Protect Your HBi Certified Porsche or Exotic
Some HBi Certified cars may come with one of our Detail & Protection packages, done in our own shop. Pick the level that fits your car best. Think about how you will use the car and how much you want it protected. Make your pick before the car is shipped to you.
XPEL paint protection film is a clear film. We put it on the parts of the car that get hit the most. These are the front bumper, the fenders (the panels over the front wheels) and the mirror caps. It helps keep the first coat of paint safe from rock chips, road junk and normal wear. Ceramic coating is a clear coat that makes the car shine more and easier to clean. It also helps protect the parts it is put on.

For a car you drive every day. We do a 1-step paint correction, which means we polish the paint one time to take out small marks. Then we put ceramic coating on the outside, so the car shines more, looks cleaner and is easier to keep clean. This package does not add the clear paint film.

Install Perfection Guarantee
If XPEL film lifts, peels, or shows installation defects within 12 months, HBi Auto will redo the affected panel at no cost, subject to the written installation terms.
XPEL Ceramic Window Tint
Add XPEL Ceramic Window Tint to your Detail & Protection package. Tint is a dark film for your windows, and it comes in 35%, 20% and 5% (a lower number means darker glass). We cut each piece to fit your car, and our pros put it on for you.

We Did Not Start as a Dealership. We Became One Because Our Clients Asked Us To.
HBi Auto began in 2016, when Billy Wenk and a few car fans started to build and fix up old cars in his dad’s backyard. In three months, the team moved into its first shop. They had one clear goal. They wanted to be the place Porsche and exotic car owners could trust with cars most shops did not really know.
We grew by fixing the problems our clients already had. We started free pickup and drop-off in a closed truck, so it was easier to get service from us. Then we added our own team to clean and protect cars. Now our paint polish, XPEL clear film, ceramic coating and final clean-up are done as well as our repair work.
Then we kept seeing the same thing over and over. Clients bought a car somewhere else, and then brought it right to us. They needed a check, late service or repairs that should have been done before the car was sold. Soon, they started to ask us, “If we trust you to check, service and get these cars ready, why do we have to buy them somewhere else?”
That question is how our car sales began. We did not want to be a normal used car lot, so we built our way of selling on what we knew. We pick the car with care and check it well. We do the service and fix-up work in our own shop, and we protect the car. We back it with a warranty that counts, and we make buying and shipping easy for clients in every state.
As we grew, we started 911 Buyers so we could buy more cars right from car fans, not just at dealer sales. This helps us learn more about who owned each car and how they cared for it. It helps us get better cars. It helps us get each one ready for its next owner the right way.
We have never tried to sell the cheapest car on the web. Our goal is to bring you the right car, picked with care, serviced, protected and backed by us. A busy car fan can buy it and feel sure about it.

Do you ship to every state?
Yes, HBi helps set up shipping in a closed truck anywhere in the United States. The price and the time it takes will depend on where the car is going and when a truck is free to take it.
How do I set up a live video tour?
First pick a car, and then ask for the tour on that car’s page. Your HBi car expert will then find a time that works well for you and for us.
Do I have to come in to buy?
No, you do not have to come in. You can look at the car, do the papers, get the loan and set up shipping, all from your own home.
Can I use my own bank or credit union?
Yes, you can use your own. You can get a loan on your own, or you can look at the loans that we can help you get through HBi.
How do deposits and vehicle holds work?
Deposit and hold terms are disclosed before funds are sent. Review your written purchase documents for the applicable timing and conditions.
How long does it take?
It depends on your papers and your loan, how long your protection package takes, and when the truck can come. Your car expert will give you a best guess of the time for your car.
